Patience

written November 6 & 8, 2006

a) Time to be patient,
to remain calm,
laying the groundwork
for better times to come

b) New possibilities arise,
shooting sparks,
lighting up the darkness of the night,
causing much exitement,
but followed by disappointment
when they fizzle out

They did show,
briefly but brightly,
that other things are possible,
and really,
that is enough
